中国化学与物理电源行业协会（China Industrial Association of Power Sources，缩写 CIAPS） 是由电池行业企（事）业单位资源组成的全国性、行业性、非营利性的社会组织，成立于1989年12月，现有团体会员单位近500家，主管部门为工业和信息化部。

本次大会对加快推进储能商业与示范工程建设，推动储能技术应用标准体系建设，加强储能技术自主创新，支撑我国能源结构的顺利转型具有深远的积极意义。
目前，还没有哪一种储能技术能同时满足能量密度、功率密度、储能效率、使用寿命、环境特性以及成本性能等大规模应用的条件。在实际应用中，不同储能技术各有其优缺点，根据应用需求进行储能选配，充分发挥各自优点，提高储能系统的灵活实用性和技术经济性。
